Prakash group of entrepreneurs has been in the packaging line since -1994. With a vision to be a reliable source for leading customers and with forever growing technology- oriented products, Prakash had established this flexible packaging unit at Maraimalai Nagar in the year 1994.

From a paper- based flexible packaging, the unit has grown to making to all types of film-based packaging material, involving a variety of customer requirements, like adhesive lamination, extrusion coating, hot melt and special type coatings.

The unit has acquired large number of machinery for precision and sophisticated printing, coating and slitting including in-house manufacturing of 3-layer extrusion blown film. The unit has established a well-equipped laboratory to inspect incoming, in-process materials and finished products to ensure meeting customer requirement and standards. The unit is spread over 3 acres of land with built in area of 75000 Sq.ft at an easily accessible Industrial Estate near Chennai.

Intertek certifies the Unit for BRC IOP (Issue 5) – A Grade as a part of the ever-growing standards, unique to packaging and packaging materials. We are also certified for Supply chain responsibility (RS Audit) for our responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains.

We have more than fifteen years of experience in manufacturing poly-coated wrappers and have the distinction of being a dedicated supplier to companies like Lotte India Corporation, Hershey’s India Pvt Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Lever Ltd., & Nestle India Ltd. Etc.

Our production line consists of two roto-gravure printing machines, which can print up to 9 colors and can run at the speed 250 Mt’s/min respectively. These are equipped with the state-of-the-art auto registration control to achieve perfect registration and web video inspection system. Two extrusion coating plants equipped with imported 'T' dies and corona treaters, one solvent based adhesive lamination machine with extra length drying tunnel to give odor free laminates and one solvent-less adhesive lamination machine for producing laminates for food packaging are also in place. We also produce aluminum foil based sandwich laminates for various applications.

We possess 6 slitting machines of various types including a very sophisticated hi-speed slitting machine with state-of-the-art tension control system, to cater to specific end products.
